Create Cloud Flow in Power Automate to Send Email Using If Condition
Recently, we got a requirement from one of our clients to send emails based on if condition using Power Automate. They want to notify the in-charge person via email if the availability of wallpaper is not equal to 0.
To meet the requirement, we have created an automated cloud flow that will send an email notification if the condition matches. Let us see how to send emails using the if condition in Power Automate.
- Open a Power Automate home page -> Click on Create -> Click on Automated cloud flow.

- In this Build an automated cloud flow window, click on Skip (or select the trigger ‘When an item is created‘ and click on Create).

- In this window, navigate and search when an item is created (Trigger) and select it.

- In this trigger section, select Site Address and List Name you want to use. I have chosen the Site Address: Mitchell Black and List Name: Wallpapers -> Click on +New steps.

- Navigate to the search box, search Condition, and then select Condition under Actions

- In this Condition, choose the value. I have chosen Wallpaper Is Available when it is not equal to 0.

- Here, in the If yes part, click on Add an action.

- Navigate to the search box and search Send an email -> Select Send an Email (V2) under Actions.

- In this Send an email (V2) window, insert the below-listed options.
- To: Insert the email of the person who is going to receive the email when the wallpaper is available or unavailable.
- Subject: Here, I have used the Wallpaper name underlying the dynamic content.
- Body: You can write the email that will be sent when the wallpaper is available or unavailable, if want you can use dynamic content as I do.

- Similarly in the If No section, follow the above steps same as in the If Yes section. Only change the Subject that Wallpaper is currently not available as shown below.

- Now, click on Save, and you can see a message saying Your flow is ready to go. We recommend you test it -> Click on Test.

- In this Test Flow window, select Manually -> Click on Test.

- At the top of the window, you will see this message To see it work now, add a new list item to the SharePoint folder you selected.

- Open a SharePoint Online List that we selected -> Click on + New -> Click on Item.

- In this New item window, insert all the required values as shown below -> Click on Save.

- Go back to the flow window, here you will see the message that Your flow ran successfully.

- Now, open Outlook and you can see the email has been received as shown below.

Power Automate Send Email Using If Multiple Conditions
In this section, we will see how to send emails using the multiple if conditions in Power Automate. That is, if the floormat count is less than 50, then it will check whether it is available for dispatch or not. If it is available, it will notify the sales team via Outlook email.
- Open a Power Automate home page -> Click on Create -> Click on Automated Cloud flow.

- Now, in the Build an automated cloud flow window, click on Skip.

- In this window, navigate and search When an item is created -> Now, select When an item is created under Triggers

- In this trigger section, select Site Address and List Name you want to use. I have chosen the Site Address (Mitchell Black) and List Name (Floormat) -> Click on +New steps.

- In this Condition pane, insert the value required as Floormat Quantity Available is less than 50 -> Click on + New steps.

- In this If yes section, click on + Add an action.

- In this window, click on Conditions as shown below.

- In this Condition 2 window, I have taken Floormat Is Available is equal to Not Available.

- In Condition 2’s, If yes section click on Add an action.

- Navigate to the search box and search Send an Email -> Select Send an Email (V2).

- In this Send an email (V2) 3 window, insert the value required as listed below.
- To: Insert the Email Address of the person who will receive the email.
- Subject: Here, write the subject for the email.
- Body: In this part, you have to write a message related to the subject.

- Similarly, follow the steps same as Condition 2’s If yes section to Add an action and enter the required values as shown below.

- Similarly, follow the same steps in the If no section (Condition 2) to Add an action. Here, in the If no section, I have taken Floormat Is Available is equal to Available.

- In this If yes section of Condition 3, click on + Add an action.

- Navigate to the search box and search Send an Email -> Select Send an Email (V2).

- In this Send an email (V2) 3 window, insert the value required as listed below.
- To: Insert the Email Address of the person who will receive the email.
- Subject: Here, write the subject for the email.
- Body: In this part, you have to write a message related to the subject.

- Similarly, in the If no part, follow the same steps as in the If yes section above and insert the required value as shown below.

- Click on Save -> Click on Test.

- In this Test flow window, select Manually -> Click on Test.

- Now, open a SharePoint Online List home page -> Click on + New -> In this New item window, insert the required values -> Click on Save.

- Now, you see the message that Your flow ran successfully.

- Open Outlook 365, and you will see the email received according to the flow conditions.
