- Power Apps free trial
- Power Apps subscription plans
- Power Apps per app pay-as-you-go
- Power Apps use rights
Power Apps Free Trial
- If a user doesn’t have a license to use Power Apps, then Microsoft provides a free trial for 30 days as temporary access to Power Apps.
- For accessing this Power Apps free trial, a user should have a work or school account else if they don’t have an account, then the user can create a free account with Azure AD.
- To start these Free trials, Go to powerapps.microsoft.com -> Then Start a free trial.
- When the user started with a Power Apps free trial plan, then Microsoft provided with:
- Access to Office 365 like SharePoint Online, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Execute automated workflows with PowerAutomate.
- Create and run the Canvas app using the Dataverse with a wide range of more than 200 data sources.
- Connect the data with premium connectors and On-premises data.
- When the Managed environment is active with all the Power Platform applications, can create or run apps, but using that environment needs a Stand Alone license.

PowerApps Subscription Plan
In the Power Apps subscription, we have two plans to get access to Power Apps. They are:
- Power Apps per user plan
- Power Apps per app plan
Power Apps per user plan
- Can get access to unlimited apps and unlimited Power Pages websites.
- Connect the data with premium or Standard connectors and On-premises data.
- Utilize the Dataverse with a wide range of more than 200 data sources
- Create and access custom tables by storing and managing the data.
- Execute Power Automate cloud flows (Automated, instant, scheduled flows) and Business process flows.
- When the Managed environment is active with all the Power Platform applications, can create or run apps, but using that environment needs a Stand Alone license.
- Per license capacity for Dataverse Database capacity (accrued) is 250 MB and for Dataverse File capacity (accrued) is 2GB.
- This Power Apps per user plan also includes AI Builder service with 500 service credits.
Power Apps per app plan
- Can run access through one app or one power apps portal.
- Connect the data with any premium or standard connectors and On-premises data.
- Utilize the Dataverse with a wide range of more than 200 data sources.
- Create and access custom tables by storing and managing the data.
- Execute Power Automate cloud flows (Automated, instant, scheduled flows) and Business process flows.
- When the Managed environment is active with all the Power Platform applications, can create or run apps, but using that environment needs a Stand Alone license.
- Per license capacity for Dataverse Database capacity (accrued) is 50 MB and for Dataverse File capacity (accrued) is 400MB.
- This Power Apps per user plan also includes AI Builder service with 250 service credits.

- Per license capacity for Dataverse Database capacity (accrued) is 1 GB/environment and for Dataverse File capacity (accrued) is 1 GB/environment.

Power Apps Use Rights
Power Apps use rights included with:
- Dynamic 365 licenses
- Dynamic 365 Enterprise licenses

Dynamic 365 licenses
- Utilize the Dataverse with a wide range of more than 200 data sources and by 15 per app.
- Create and access custom tables by storing and managing the data.
- By using the Dynamic 365 licenses plan, can Create, Read, Update, or Delete(CRUD) the Dynamic 365 restricted tables.
- Execute Power Automate cloud flows (Automated, instant, scheduled flows) and Business process flows.
Dynamic 365 Enterprise licenses
- Can run custom apps/ Power Pages websites within the same environment as licensed Dynamic 365 applications.
- Utilize the Dataverse with a wide range of more than 200 data sources and by 15 per app
- Create and access custom tables by storing and managing the data.
- By using the Dynamic 365 licenses plan, can Create, Read, Update, or Delete(CRUD) the Dynamic 365 restricted tables.
- Execute Power Automate cloud flows (Automated, instant, scheduled flows) and Business process flows.
- When the Managed environment is active with all the Power Platform applications, can create or run apps, but using that environment needs a Stand Alone license.
Microsoft 365 licenses
- Can run only the Canvas app and run as many apps as they want up to those apps using Standard Connectors.
- Using Microsoft 365 licenses, cannot run a Model-driven app or a Portal app.
- Where both of them support Microsoft Dataverse which is a premium connector so we need premium licensing.
- Utilize the Dataverse for Teams only by storing and managing the data.
- Execute Power Automate cloud flows (Automated, instant, scheduled flows).
