The only two things you can control are the number of items to display as well as the toggle that can exclude news posts in the feed.
- Go to the My Feed web part and then click on the Edit web part. In the My feed property pane, it will give the two options such as:
- Maximum number of items: We can set a slider to display the number of items (Up to 15).
- Include SharePoint news: Here, choose the Yes/No toggle to Include SharePoint news.
