Here, We have created a SharePoint Online list (Mercy Health Donors). This list has various columns with different data types such as:
- Donor ID = This is the Title Column renamed to Donor ID
- Donor Name = single line of text
- Donor Email Address = Single line of text
- Donor Country Code = Single line of Text
- Donor Phone Number = Number Column
- Donor Birthday = Date and Time Column
- Donated Branch = Choice Column
- Donated Amount = Currency Column
- Payment Mode = Choice Column

- On the SharePoint Online list (Mercy Health Donors), Expand Export on the command bar -> Select Export to Excel.
NOTE:
The Export option will only available when items in the SharePoint list are not selected.

- The exported file will get downloaded to your local system with the default file name of the query. iqy. Click on the Open file link as below.

- By opening the file, it will display the Dialogue box of the Microsoft Excel Security Notice -> Click on Enable.

- Next, it will display the Excel Import Data dialogue box,
- Select how you want to view this data in your workbook: There are four options:
- Table
- PivotTable Report
- PivotChart
- Only Create Connection
- As per my requirement, I have chosen the Table option.
- Where do you want to put the data?: Click on the New workbook.
- Select how you want to view this data in your workbook: There are four options:
- Finally, Click on OK.

- The selected SharePoint Online list (Mercy Health Donors) will appear in the Excel sheet as shown below figure:

- After getting exported to the Excel sheet -> Click Refresh.
- It will trickle changes from the SharePoint list down to Excel automatically.

- Create a new view of selected items (Ex: we are creating a new view of the items regarding the Donated Amount of 250$).
- Filter the list (Ex: Filter by Donated Amount) -> Click column header [Donated Amount] -> Filter by -> Click Apply.

- It will display the filtered group list -> Click the List view icon -> choose ‘Save View As’ (Filtered by Donated Amount).

- Open the SharePoint Online list -> Click Export on the command bar -> Select Export to CSV (Comma Separated Value).
NOTE:
The maximum number of rows you can export to a CSV file is 30,000.
CSV file can be opened in Notepad or Excel.

- CSV file will get downloaded to your local system with the default file name of Excel.

- Click Open file to display a file in the Excel workbook as shown below:

- Click on the File, on the upper left-hand side of the Excel Spreadsheet.

- select Save AS to save the file in .csv format on your computer.
