- Open SharePoint Team site Home page -> Click on the Settings or Gear icon (right top of the page) -> Select Change the Look under the SharePoint section as shown below:

- When we click on the Change the Look option, the below window will appear where we can see 3 choices:
- Theme
- Header
- Navigation

Theme
- Under the Theme, you can see three various options:
- Site theme
- Company themes
- SharePoint themes
Here, we will use different themes as per our requirements.

Header
- Similarly, under the Header section, you can see three options:
- Layout: We can change the layout with different options like Minimal, Compact, Standard, and Extended.
- Background: We can change the Background theme as per our requirement as shown below:

- Under the Header section, we can find another subsection Display to change the Site logo, Site title visibility(on/off), and Site logo thumbnail like below:

Navigation
- Likewise, we can find two options under Navigation such as:
- Site navigation visibility (on/off)
- Orientation (horizontal or vertical).

Change the look from the SharePoint Site information
Similarly, you can change the look from the SharePoint Site information. For this, the following steps are:
- Open SharePoint Team site Home page -> Click on Settings or the Gear icon -> Select Site information like below:

- Click on the Site information, where you can find View all site settings under the site information pane.

- On the Site settings page, we can find three options under the Look and Feel section:
- Quick launch
- Navigation Elements
- Change the look

Quick launch
Inside the settings -> Click on Quick Launch, the below window will appear where we can see three options:
- New navigation link
- New heading
- Change order

New Navigation Link
If you want to create a New navigation link on the Sharepoint Team site, then follow the steps below:
- Click on the New navigation link -> Provide the link or web address inside the Type the Web address field (https://Youtube).
- Select the Ok button. Now the New navigation link will appear on the Home page like below:

New Heading
Similarly, If you want to create a New Heading on the Sharepoint Team site, then follow the steps below:
- Click on the New Heading link -> Provide the link or web address inside the Type the Web address field (https://Teams).
- Select the Ok button. Now the New Heading link will appear on the Home page like below:

Change Order
Likewise, click on the Change order where you can change the order to the quick launch -> Select the Ok button it will appear as shown below:

Navigation Elements
- Here, click on the Navigation Elements, and you will get two options such as:
- Enable Quick Launch
- Enable Tree View
- Now, select Enabled Quick Launch -> Click on the Ok button it will appear as shown below:

- Similarly, we can select Enable Tree view -> Click on the Ok button it will appear as shown below:

Change the look
- Click on Change the Look, you can find various types of Inbuilt themes as shown below:

- Select the inbuilt theme as per our requirement -> Click on Trait it Out to make a new theme for the SharePoint Team site.

- Here, you can see new theme will appear in the SharePoint Online Team site as shown below:
