What is a Team Site in SharePoint Online
A team site in SharePoint is a place where team members can collaborate with each other. They can store, and share documents with each other using various SharePoint document libraries.
For example, an organization’s IT team can store IT-related documents so other team members can access and work on them.
Also, we can store information on a team site in SharePoint.
For example, we can create a contact list to store information about IT employees in the team.
In a SharePoint team site, only people having proper access can see the documents or information.
For example, IT-related documents are available to the IT department of IT people only, it will not be accessible to Finance team unless you provide access to them.
