A SharePoint Online Call to Action web part is similar to a SharePoint Online Button web part. When a user clicks on a button, it navigates to the external or internal pages or sites. But in the call to the action web part, we can create an Interactive button with highlighted content.
How to use Call to Action web part in SharePoint Online
Suppose in an Organization HR wants other team members to register a form for an event, In that case, HR can create a form and provide the link with the highly visible button. And the team members can take action. So in detail, we will see by adding Call to action web part on the SharePoint site page.
- Go to the SharePoint Online site page where we want to add a Call to Action web part.
- Click on the + icon (To Add a new web part in column one).

- Under the Text, media, and content section, choose Call to action.

- Now the Call to action web part will be added.

As shown in the above image, we can see that text can be added and there is a button also. So now we will customize the call to action web part on the SharePoint site page.

Here we will customize the call to action web part by editing a web part by providing a link to the button and adding text above the button (describing the button) that will be Call to action text.

Edit the SharePoint Online Call to action web part
We can edit the web part by adding a background image to a web part, providing a link to the button, providing a text, which appears on the Button, and changing the position of our Call to the action web part.
- Click on the Edit icon(Edit web part)

- A dialogue box will appear on the right-hand side as a Call to action with:
- Background Image
- Button Label
- Button Link
- Alignment
- Background Image: We can provide the background image by clicking on the Change icon, it navigates to the page where we can select an image by our device or else by default images.

- Button Label: We will provide a text, which appears on the Button. Example: Register now

- Button link: Provide the Link which users want to navigate to the internal or external sites or pages. Example: We are Providing the link for Music Events to book their tickets

- Alignment: We can change the position of our Call to action web part by Left, Center, or Right alignment. We will choose the Center alignment, then the Call to action web part looks like the below image:

On the web part, we can find Add your Call to action text here, click on that and provide a text above the button (describing the button) that will be a Call to action text.
Example: INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL EVENT

This is how we can customize the SharePoint Online call to action web part. After customization is done click on the Republish button which appears on the right-hand side of the page.

If the users or team members click on the Register Now button, it navigates to the buy the ticket for INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL EVENT, their user can register or buy the ticket.
